The Alaska CNA registry, which is regulated by the Alaska Board of Nursing, is maintained to keep track of all licensed nurse aides in the state of Alaska, so if you wish to work as a certified nurse aide in the state of Alaska, you must pass abide by certain requirements.
Like every other state, you must provide proof that you successfully completed a state approved nurse assistant training program, and have fulfilled the 140 hour requirements mandated by the state, including 60 hours of written/classroom curriculum, and 80 hours of clinical and skills training. If you reside in another state or territory of the US or any province in Canada, and wish to practice as a nurse aide in Alaska, then you may apply as long as your license is current.
